We work closely with our East Cheshire NHS Trust colleagues at Macclesfield Hospital to make sure that the services we provide are joined up with hospital care. Some of the services are provided in partnership with the Hospital.

Routine weekend General Practice appointments can be booked via your GP surgery
Our vasectomy service provides male sterilisation under Local Anaesthetic. It is a ‘one-stop’ service, with your vasectomy being undertaken at your first appointment.
This is a service for patients whose GP feels they would benefit from surgery in order to alleviate the symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
If your GP wishes to arrange a diagnostic ultrasound scan the service can be provided as a partnership between East Cheshire NHS Trust and Vernova Healthcare Community Interest Company.
Vernova Healthcare provides the phlebotomy service on behalf of the six GP practices at Waters Green Medical Centre in Macclesfield.
Microsuction is a safe alternative to ear irrigation (ear syringing) for the removal of ear wax. This Vernova service offers a specialist clinic for people for whom ear syringing is not appropriate.
Vernova provides a community-based specialist nursing service for patients with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. The service aims to work with your GP practice to provide additional specialist support to patients where requested by their GP.
